bruised baby tongue

I am a new mum and have 4 weekold dd and have just noticed that her the end of her tongue is purple and has a blister on it. She is a very vigorous sucker cries all the time and has acne on her face and ears. am i doing anything wrong? please help.

sure you are not doing anything wrong
My dd had a milk blister on her lip from vigrourous sucking!

But check with the HV just in case

thank you for reassurance. think the bruise is where she might have sucked so hard on my finger it has got trapped over and over between finger and gum. she also had a sucking blister, when does it go?
