Any chance that it's the stress that's causing the sore throat and cough?

Ask the hospital staff - they will do what's best for you both. They won't take risks with Peter's health.

RosaLuxembourg · 12/09/2007 12:56

Paranoid is understandable. I would tell whoever is responsible for allowing him home and see what they think.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 12/09/2007 12:58

shall i leave it till tomorrow?

because i am thinking it could be dust/stress?

How lovely to have him back soon.

Stop with the housework, go pamper yourself for a short while.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 12/09/2007 13:45

yes ma

i think its all this new cleaning stuff i;ve been using. i have always gone in for a 'bit of healthy dirt never hurt anyone' but was told by hospital to use anti-bac spray yesterday. it smells odd. (that clear dettol spray? and wipes)

Well thats the best news i have heard today, fantastic.

Hope you all have a wounderful restful day tomorrow. It's so nice to get out of hospital and back home. I bet the staff/nurses will miss having him around.

dcs must be so excited.

Dettox always makes my throat itchy when I use it, so it might well be that combined with the dust.

Can you make the decision tomorrow rather than today, give yourself time to see whether it is just the cleaning or if it's a bug? Or do you have to decide today?

I guess you would need to err on the side of caution - even if he is desperate to come home! Do the girls know yet?
