DD hasn't been herself today - has been quite whiney and not really settled a great deal.
Have just changed her nappy whilst getting her ready for bed and it is green (sort of olive colour TMI i know)and it is foul smelling.

ANy idea what this means?

Not saying it is def but could me milk allergy or intolerence. I started bottle feeding when my ds was about 5 months old and he changed into this grumpy baby with smelly green poos.

Turned out he is allergic to dairy, wheat and gluten. You could try some other brands of formula, the organic range seems to be kinder on the stomach. If it should turn out to be dairy then she may have to go on Soya milk or Nutramagin.

Good luck hope.

Has she got a bit of a cold?

SpringChicken · 06/10/2004 21:22

Sorry for the delay - been slaving cleaning and de-cluttering my house!
Got Estate Agents round tomorrow to value it and it has taken me hours!

She has got a bit of a cold but the doctor has checked her chest and said she isn;t congested so just have to let it pass (she has had it for a few weeks now)!

She has always got on perfectly fine with her milk - have been bottle feeding since birth.
Maybe she's just feeling a bit under the weather and it is having a knock on effect.
She is still putting on plenty on weight so shouldn't think there is anything to worry about - just one of those initial panic moments
