IBS related -I'm just here for a whinge and some sympathy

A pat on the head and a "There There" would be nice .
DH keeps telling me to see the GP and I will do (though not sure exactly what good this will do)

First - I have long term diverticulitis (well over 5 years )
I have an ulcer on the decending illieum (new)
I have bulging and pouching .(new)

Recent tests (couple of months ago) showed no Crohns and no malignancy (Good news)
Ovaries are fine

For the last week, I've had blood stained mucous (sometimes not even stools , just the mucous/blood).

Today , more blood . But bright , fresh blood

Something in there is irritated . Stress this week high.
I've had flare ups which have resulted in extreme left sided pain and loose bowels (TMI) but this is new .

Any fellow sufferers like to give me some words of encouragement ?

Is there anything I should avoid eating ? Or I can try?
I'm not in pain, just bloat-ey

Still bleeding here .
I'm being a bit ignore it and it'll go away I think with everything going on.

I haven't had painkillers except a couple of paracetomal over 10 days ago . That won't have done any harm will it ? (I rarely take painkillers and never NSAIDs)

I am just really loathe to go to my GP (partly because I know they will be busy and partly because when I went before they gave me antibiotics with no prior tests .......which turned out to be not the appropriate antibiotics to treat my symptoms anyway )

So, I'm now on Day 11 and still blood stained loose stools and bright blood on wiping.

Done a stool sample and this has been sent off
Cannot get a blood test because local hospitals not doing .

I'm trying NOT To imagine my bowel has ruptured but seriously what the Hell is going on in there?
You don;t bleed for no reason.
But I am so far no further forward .

Ah, Day 12 not 11.
