Shiatsu - is it any good? How has it helped/cured you?

I'm thinking of giving it a try, and am interested in hearing about others' experiences before I fork out £50! Has it sorted out any issues for you, and does it hurt when you have it done?

I loved Shiatsu when I went to an expert practioner in Cambridge. Felt shattered after but could feel my energies moving and improving over time. Moved back North and have never found anyone as good.... so don't do it regularly :-(
