low ferritin or anxiety

I’ve been feeling tired, a bit dizzy and short of breath for a couple of months. The breathlessness comes and goes but mainly happens when I move around. I’ve had some palpitations and increased heart rate too.
I had a blood test done and my ferritin level was 16.
Would a ferritin of 16 cause these symptoms?

Not to drip feed I have had periods of anxiety and CBT years ago and have had a stressful time recently so wondered if my symptoms were ferritin or anxiety related?

It does vary as my print out once very clearly said over 70 was normal.

When older people have restless leg syndrome the first thing they do is check ferritin and get it over 70/80.

There's an increasing number of papers showing that roughly two thirds of patients who don't get relief from the right dose of thyroxine, do when ferritin is over 100. If you have a working thyroid, iron is an important part of how it creates the various hormones.

It's not too bad on my stomach. Occasionally constipated.
Think mine was originally cause by heavy periods. I had it pregnancy too and wonder if it never got up to a decent level after that

I hope your periods are sorted, I stay on the POP constantly to avoid my heavy periods.
