Sore, itchy skin on breast - anything to worry about?

I have a small patch of dry, hard skin on my breast, just next to the nipple. It is really itchy, I’ve been using E45 cream but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I don’t have dry skin anywhere else. Should I be concerned? I’m wondering whether it’s worth seeing the GP or whether I’d just be wasting their time. Has anyone else had this?

Any breast issues should be checked out.
I’d make an appointment with the doctor to be on the safe side.

Go and see your GP

If I were you, I'd get that checked by your GP. It's almost certainly nothing to worry about, but I wouldn't take any chances just in case.

Thank you, I will make an appointment then. I was just worried they’d think I was mad for taking up their time for a tiny bit of dry skin! I guess I’d rather be safe than sorry though.

That's a good move to see the doctor, it's the dry hard skin that would bother me.
