underactive thyroid - thinning hair

Hello mums everywhere.
I'm new to this site so bear with me!
Is there anyone out there who is suffering from hair loss who also has been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. I've got my blood test in Friday to confirm hypothyroidism. If yes, is your hair better now that you are taking Thyroxine?

Look forward to chatting to you all again soon.

Thinning hair here too and was told could be either thyroid or anemia. Am taking iron but making appointment for doc too to check.

I have hypothyroidism and suffer itntermitently from thinning hair. It is at it's worse if my dosage is wrong which is why it is important to go for regular blood tests. Not all of the symptoms disapear but the do get less iyswim.

I have an underactive thryoid and did suffer alot from thinning hair during the early stages. My treatment is not quite stabilised yet but my hair doesn't come out as much as it used to.
