HPV vaccine for older boys

I want to get my boys who are slightly older and have missed the vaccination for HPV, vaccinated privately. The cheapest i have found it is at Lloyds chemist (Boots and Superdrug also do it)- has anyone found it cheaper elsewhere and are the strains vaccinated against the same at all pharmacies that do this? Thanks

We got our son done at our local surgery as he missed it by being off sick when school did the jab. We fixed it up ourselves.

Your GP might do it for a charge

What sort of cost is involved please? I'd like to get my 17yr old the vaccinations. They need 3 at that age I think?

The price seems more or less the same. It's about £150 a shot. They need two if younger than 14, three if above. I has my son done at Boots, my friend went to the hospital and it was the same price.

You might want to read the latest research on hpv. One vaccine might be enough - worth reading anyway if cost is an issue

we asked at the GPs and they could not do it, we were advised to look online
