Hi. Last april whie I was pregnant some of my tooth chipped off and it took me ages to pluck up the courage to have it filled (my 1st filling!), it wasn't so bad after all. I had a white filling but dentist said I still might get pain after as it is quite big and it might need to be filled again or have root canal! I went back again and said it's sensitive and have slight pain and he said it may need filling again and sometimes white fillings are not as strong as mercury. However now it is painful but only at night but I don't have the courage to phone the dentist! I am hoping he will fill it with mercury and it will be ok, please reasure me!
