Temporarily stopping treatment beacuse of COVID-19

Put this in general health as I think it might be wider than auto-immune.

Had a discussion with doctor about immune suppressants and it was suggested that having a break because of COVID-19 might be a sensible idea.

Just wondered how widespread the advice is and what people's thoughts are?

I’m on chemo and it did cross my mind. But no health professionals have mentioned it.

I’m on immunosuppressants and it’s not been mentioned. Are you concerned you have come into contact with it?

I don't have any reason to believe I have been in contact with it. It was more a general question beacuse I happened to have a large run of appointments last week with GP and specialists.

I have been on an extended break anyway due to family illness and out of date drugs.

@SharpandshineyteethSharpandshineyteeth I am sorry to hear that - in your case the chemo has to be the priority. I hope it's as good as it can be
