What the bloody hell are these lumps under my eyes?

They're relatively new - as in I've just become aware of them. Maybe a fortnight ago.

You can't see them to look at me. They don't hurt at all. They are towards the inner corner of my eye and they are where your eye socket/ top of cheek bone is. Exactly on the socket more or less. They're bony feeling - not cysts or spots or a style. No soreness or redness. Nothing can be seen. Just feel like very hard bone like lumps on my eye sockets that are invisible from the outside.

So what could they be? It's both eyes too which makes it even stranger

Milia? Google that and see if they look like it. I have one under my right eye

Busymummy16 · 11/02/2020 07:23

Chalazion? They can get infected then every visible. I had one that gave me peri orbital cellulitis 😱😱

KipperBangBang · 11/02/2020 07:37

Definitely
Not milia. They aren't visible at all - it's like bone. Same with chazaljon. It's not tender, sore or noticeable in any way . I can feel them though

weaselwords · 11/02/2020 08:10

Xanthelasma?

KipperBangBang · 11/02/2020 08:25

Not that I'm afraid

Sorry to go on but they're aren't visible. No yellow plaques, not milia or spots or cysts . Not sore or red

Bony. Like extra bone that wasn't there before

SouthWestmom · 11/02/2020 10:12

Op I have small lumps on the bone that are part of the socket - are you sure these are new and you just haven't found them before?

SouthWestmom · 11/02/2020 10:17

Orbital dermoid? Picture is a different type, ignore.

KipperBangBang · 11/02/2020 11:07

Not an orbital dermoid

Hmm that's interesting. You have them too @noeuf? I'm unsure as to why I wouldn't have noticed them before!! Like when I cleanse my face etc

SouthWestmom · 11/02/2020 11:17

Yes - I'll try and do a diagram. Near my nose both sides. Only if I press slightly (started using a face mask so change for me)

SouthWestmom · 11/02/2020 11:18

My diagram

What the bloody hell are these lumps under my eyes?
KipperBangBang · 11/02/2020 11:20

I bet that's an uncanny likeness isn't it?

And yep, that's exactly where they are!

SouthWestmom · 11/02/2020 11:30

I was very worried about outing myself so I made my nose smaller

KipperBangBang · 11/02/2020 11:50

I'd spot you anywhere but don't worry. I shan't breathe a word

takethegirloutofwales · 15/04/2021 08:00

Did you ever work out what this was? I have exactly the same and only noticed it through boredom sitting down doing nothing as I’ve broken my ankle. For me it’s just the one lump - not painful, not visible and I don’t think it’s in the skin more attached to the inside of my face. It does move around if I try to hold it between two fingers it slips away. But it’s weird.
