I've had piles on and off ever since ds was born (over 3years ago).

It is so painful now, that it really hurts to go to the toilet.

what can I do to help the pain (payday tomorrow so cant afford to buy anything today).

I read somewhere that sitting in a few inches of the hottest water you can bear helps... I haven't tried it so don't know for sure though. Sorry

Seek medical advice from your GP asap and get this problem sorted out once and for all. Internal piles are not nice and you've had this problems for a long time now.

In the meantime using Preparation H along with Anusol suppositories may help.

I've been known to sit on a (towel wrapped) packet of frozen peas...
it helped A LOT.

I've got the same prob. It's grim isn't it. The doc said that the best thing would be to have an operation. I've been given some steroid cream in the meantime which has helped a bit. I really don't know!
