Dry skin

My two and a half year old DS suffers from very dry skin with wee patches like eczema, I have to put cream on him morning and night but would really like prevention as opposed to cure, does anyone know of any washing powder/liquid that is best for this condition? I think i have been through most of stuff in tesco! Looked into ecoballs but reviews not fantastic for getting things clean

What bath products do you use for ds?

Don't use any, he rarely has a bath mainly goes in shower every other night with a wash the nights he doesn't. Doc gave me oil to wash him with but to no avail

We have 4 kids and they all have dry skin to a degree. dd1 worse than others. I use oilatum bath emollient in their bath every time they go in. If i dont put this in for a few baths dd1 skin starts to dry immediately.
