Any good exercises or suggestions for getting your figure back. I have about 12lbs to go and although am bf and swimming/going to the gym am beginning to panic as it is not shifting as quickly as my other friends who have just had babies. I go back to work in November and have a wardrobe of size 10 clothes to get in to and can't afford to go and buy more. Don't get me wrong I actually am not worried about my shape, I rather like it , but need to get into those clothes for work!

Also my feet have grown!! nightmare city for I am a size 8 in shoes. Should I bind them ??
only joking

Not much advice really Calcium. But if I did it so can you - I had a big baby and weighed 3 1/2 stone more AFTER giving birth. I had a wardrobe full of size 8/10 straight skirted unforgiving suits which I couldn't afford to replace. By the time I went back to work after 15 weeks I could get into some of them and then it continued gradually over the next fifteen months. Carry on with what you are doing and also try to walk a few miles each day with your child in the pram or a sling.

I got dh to sponsor me £20 a lb - that amount meant it was sort of worth while as if you lost a couple of lbs you had enough to go out and buy a shirt or whatever - and I had a good 2 stone to lose so it cost him a fair bit in all - but of couse he was ( privately!) quite keen to see me slim down from the size 18 I was after birth to a more normal ( for me!)10/12
