missed pills question

I have just been away for 2 weeks and stupidly forgot to take my pill pcket with me - I'd just started a new packet (was on day 3) - does anyone know if I need o wait till AF comes naturally to start taking it again or do I just start right away?

Also if you start a new pack mid-cycle, make sure you use extra precautions (eg condoms) or abstain for the first 7 days as it will take that long to start to work. If you start on day 1-4 of a period then it is effective straight away.
