Should I see GP or waste of their time?

Been unwell the past week with cough, sore throat etc generally a bad cold. The past few of days though I have quite an uncomfortable feeling in my chest, feel wheezy, coughing up yellow phlegm, much worse in evening night and morning. Don't want to waste a gp appointment if it's just a general cold or would you go with these symptoms?

Could you go to a pharmacy? You can now see someone in private and they can advise you best. 😊

You could call NHS24 and ask their opinion, or call in at your local Pharmacy and see what they say......

Could be pneumonia. Yes, see your GP.

See how your chest feels this morning.
Yellow phlegm doesn't sound good!

See your gp but they probably won't give you anything - if it's viral it just needs to run its course. I've had similar lately and I think it's probably a winter chest infection
