Top layer of my skin feels numb

I am 33. The weird sensation started on my face and felt like slight numb. Went to ER they did the MRI and found nothing.
It’s been worsening since then. It’s been about three weeks now my most parts of body feel the same. Have some tingling as well in hands and feet.
Meanwhile my PCP did the blood test and found vit Deficiency. I have been taking the supplements for about 1 week but still no improvement.
Have referral for the neurologist and will call tomorrow morning to get the appointment which I don’t think would be anytime next week.
I am completely mobile and active , have my strength as well

Anyone experienced anything similar. Pls help me what should I do if I don’t get neuro appointment sooner.

Hi OP, hope you're ok. We're just bumping this thread for you.

Can you ask your neurologist for a nerve conduction test to see if it is all in order? Do you have any allergies or autoimmune disorder? Eczema?
I would also ask for a Lyme desease test and about demyelination conditions when I speak to the neurologist.
Not diagnosing you at all, just questions and info and tests that were useful to us, although other condition was not the same as mobility and sensation of all limbs was lost within a few days.
Fantastic that you had an MRI already and seeing the neurologist, they will look after you.

Oh and do try to speak to the neurologist secretary about cancellations. We rang every day to ask and we managed to save ourselves 6 weeks wait
