Flexible sigmoidoscopy when pregnant?

I have been waiting for and have finally got an appointment through for a flexible sigmoidoscopy. However, I am unexpectedly pregnant and wondered whether it is ok to have this procedure (which I think doesn't involve sedation but does involve an enema (urgh!)).

Does anyone know?

(I am not on the urgent list - the doctor thinks I have IBS, but I am a worrier and would like to be checked if this is possible).
