Dry itchy area on skin

Had this dry patch for a long time but can't really see it as beside my ear. Of late it has become more raised and darker
Is it an ageing mark or should I get it looked at?

If it has changed, get it looked at. I have no medical knowledge to offer, but for the sake of 10 mins of your GPS time, please make the appointment. No point in worrying as that can make you ill in different ways.

It might be a sebhorreic keratosis (which sometimes appear with age), but if you're worried I'm sure your GP will be able to diagnose.
