I feel awful. This afternoon we were at Legoland with DS1, who is 2 and 3/4, and DS2, 10 months.

As we left, DS1 tumbled and smacked his forehead very hard on the ground. OMG, the bump was right in the middle of his forehead and enormous. He'd also grazed his forehead too.

We rushed off to find the first aid room and I have to say that the staff were great. We tried to put an ice pack on it, but he was having none of it. Eventually, he calmed down and we managed to get home (having got stuck in the traffic trying to leave Legoland). Luckily we are local and it only took about 15 minutes.

Bless him, he had a massive bowl of pasta, ham and cheese for tea (he requested this himself) and is now tucked up in bed. He has an awful bruise and scab on his head.......

Me - I feel awful....not that there was anything I could have done to stop it happening.....but you feel awful just the same.....

Poor you (and him!). Know how you feel! Spent Tuesday afternoon in A&E with DS2 (12m) after DS1 (2y8m) shut his fingers in the patio doors. He was fine but I was a nervous wreck! (Bandages come off now and doesn't seem to be any serious damage )
