To go back to GP? Breast lump !

Hi everyone ✋In the shower a few days ago I checked my breasts as I normally do most days and I felt a tiny fingernail sized hard lump where my right breast ends and my armpit starts. Very underneath the skin, you really have to feel deep to feel it but I could feel it myself after some prodding.
You can move it a little bit and it's painless.
I went along to GP that day as I'm a big worrier and she laid me down and had a good feel and said she couldn't feel anything and to come back in a month! I have been ill with chest infection and also my period this week, so is she not concerned? I have been diagnosed with Health Anxiety too so I am the type of person who will not last a month. I have been thinking of getting a second opinion as I have felt it everyday since and this Gp was in a rush. I feel any changes in the breast people say you can be refereed to a breast clinic?
I am so Worried
for some back round I don't smoke and I'm in my 30s normal weight too etc thanks xxx

Coming from a fellow health anxiety sufferer, I'd see if you can still feel it, maybe even mark it on your skin and go back to ask if they can check again - if they feel it ask for the referral if nothing else for peace of mind, I've been to the clinic a couple of times recently, they are so good and quick and they do a thorough scan, I had a fibroadenoma and also a bit of pain the second time - all was fine and I'm sure you are too but anxiety is so hard xxx

As you are young, the advice would be to wait a month to see if it resolves. Even if the GP had felt it the advice would be the same. NICE suggest consideration of referral for lump in axilla. A chest infection might well have made a lymph node palpable.
Get a second opinion, if it would help but it doesn’t sound like your GP acted appropriately.

Thanku both 🙏🏻 I will go back Monday and get second opinion and ask to be referred as you cannot say to someone with health anxiety to wait a month 😂 pure hell.
I am tryin not to worry but that's making me worry even more xx
