Owwwwwww - stabbing pains in left tit!

oh my God, it's so painful.

am 34 weeks pregnant (don't know if that's relevant)
and I keep getting this stabbing pain deep in my left tit.

It's been on and off pretty much all day so far.

I've taken my bra off and I've massaged the boob in case it was a blocked milk duct and milk was tryign to start coming through or something.

At a loss as to what it is but it's so painful.

actually, we call them burgers if you must know

it all started when a friend of mine, she was rather obsessed, was enquiring whether our nipples (now thats a word that makes me cringe) were likened to burgers or acorns! it stuck, now all my friends use it, and guess what dd calls hers???? Well she calls them buttons so there.
