What's high in antioxidants and low in price?

You can make small changes like use honey on your toast instead of jam.

Great, if honey is good. Don't eat a lot of jam (tho am very partial to marmalade)! But do make cakes, so can use honey instead of sugar. Do these things still 'work' when cooked ie. tomatoes and honey.

apparently tomatoes are better cooked as it;s easier for your body to digest the lycopene.....think there was something about it on the bbc website a while ago - will see if i can find it for you

Yes, Hessiesmum is very right. Cooked tomatoes and tomatoes in tin (!) is actually better than the fresh ones. I have read it somewhere.

I'm alright if it's coffee! Thanks for link Hecciesmum. Will read up...berries are good, but not really all year round. I guess you can buy the smoothie, frozen ones. Will have to do that in Winter.

Green tea is definitely a good, cheap option. Not sure how much we will have to drink though. Do you require more antioxidants if you live in smelly ol' London?

How about beetroot? That's purple-y. Blueberries, I assume (tho are expensive when out of season).
