I'm steaming my head and coughing my guts out. Tomorrow we have a long uk trip to see family with my 6 month old (had cough for weeks) and toddler. Anyone know the answer to the age old question: how the hell can I kill this cold!'

Zinc and vitamin C sometimes help me see one off. My sympathies, DH has this too and we too are leaving for the U.K... on Thursday, for his father's funeral on Friday Shock

I don't think there's that much you can do but I always have a few spoonfuls of honey with lemon juice and hot water and it tastes nice and helps a bit. Sometimes a flu tablets helps (ones with paracetamol and decongestant in). Hope you feel better soon.

I've heard hydrogen peroxide in your ear kills a cold
