Overactive bladder? Breastfeeding?

Posted about this on breastfeeding but I guess it's a bit of a niche problem. Just wondered if any other MNers have had to be treated for an overactive bladder, and particularly during pg or breastfeeding.

Sorry to be dense but what is an overactive bladder, exactly? Is it jsut frequency?

NoviceKnitter · 15/08/2007 10:20

It's basically where you're bladder contracts over-zealously and much more strongly than in a normal one, which leads to frequency, urgency, the works. I've got one anyway, but ventouse delivery has aggravated it. Have to decide re treatment options given i'm bfing. so just wondered if anyone else out there had similar experience...
