Can you pay for the contraceptive implant privatly? (dont want to wait 6-8 weeks)

I think they cost about £100 but don't know who would insert one privately.

Why don't you want to wait 6 to 8 weeks? Prehaps its worth phoning up the family planning clinic to see if they have any cancellations. Prehaps you could try the family planning clinics in near by towns. Some large GP surguries have a doctor trained to fit coils.

I already did, but changed my mind and didnt turn up

Now I dont want to go back there, as they get quite nasty.

Plus I keep chopping and changing about TTC after xmas, but its not ideal and I just want the implant in ASAP so I cant change my mind again.

Unless you are 100% sure you want a coil then I would not have one put in. The side affects can be quite unpleasent.

There are other forms of contraception. It isn't the coil or nothing.

its not a coil

its the implant - that goes in your arm.
