I have an awful rash/infection around my eye (just one side) - lid, below, on the side. all around the eye socket. All red, swollen, cracked skin. no idea what it is. GP doesn't have routine appointments until end of the months and it doesn't warrant an urgent same day appointment either (I tried all week) but I keep being turned down.
anything which I could do in the meantime to help things to settle down? I work in a customer/client facing role and look hideous and get asked non stop what has happened to me. and it is painful too. And I am worried as it is so close to the eye.
