Ive had discoloured armpits since I was young and although it doesnt affect everyday life im really self concious when wearing sleeveless tops, people comment on it which is really embarassing.
Was thinking of going to the doctors but seems a bit trivial, Ive looked on websites and they say its to do woth shaving, sweating and wearing tight tops but I honestly cant see that any of these reasons are why I have it cos I had it before shaving I dont sweat and I dont wear tight clothes. Any advice or comments really welcome

What do you shave with? I've discovered hair conditioner is a great non-reactive shaving cream, esp the Tresemme / Pantene types which are kind of silicon based so very friction-free.
I know you said you don't sweat but have you tried Mitchum anti-perspirant? I had a rash under my bust one summer, tried everything then finally tried Mitchum on it and it allowed the area to dry out and heal.

Salt deodorant could help - something natural against your skin? www.thesaltshack.co.uk sells it.

Thanks for the link, ive never seen those products before. Ive been on a few websites and the main thing it seems is skin whitening and there are some products but they are really expensive!! Was thinking of going to the docs to see if I could get anything on prescription but then they might think I m being stupid?
