Advice please - blood results and general symptoms

Hi,
Just as a disclaimer I am being seen by a GP and have a phone appointment next week to discuss my latest results.

For the last few months I’ve had IBS type symptoms and then a couple of occurrences of bad stomach pain.

I’ve had several rounds of blood tests and an abdominal ultrasound plus poo sample (not envy).

Blood tests (latest) show raises ESR and CRP (35 and 12 respectively), slightly raised red blood cell count and slightly low MCV.

Ultrasound shows I have three gallstones and that my liver is a bit fatty, and poo sample showed raised Calprotectin (300+).

My symptoms are: sporadic (though much better now I’m on Omeprazole) upper right and left abdomen and back pain, IBS symptoms and tiredness (though have a lot on at the moment with work and kids etc. so could just be that).

Anyone (informed) want to make an educated guess? Thanks very much in advance x

Did you have a full blood count done as well as the tests you mention above? Also ferritin and B12?

You need a gastro referral with the high faecal calprotectin.

Thanks both. Yes full blood count but not ferritin or B12 I don’t think. GP has mentioned gastro referral. Could my symptoms all be related to the gallstones??

I previously had IBS symptoms and high platelet count in 2016 . Since then no IBS symptoms as regular as before and again high platelet count so following with interest
