What am I ill with - exhausted but no symptoms

I've been in bed all weekend feeling utterly exhausted and weak. I don't actually feel unwell, and don't have any symptoms other than slightly sensitive skin / muscles and sore eyes

My DH had the same thing last weekend for 2.5 days

Never had anything like this before- it's like some sort of lethargy virus!

Has anyone had this before!? Without it being actual exhaustion (which I def don't have as not been overdoing it or anything)

Yes! I have something.

Not felt well since Thursday, managed work on Friday but tired and felt coldy. I have a cough but that is all apart from utter utter exhaustion. My legs feel weak, everything is a massive effort. Working from home today fortunately, still in pj's on sofa. I have to go to work tomorrow, there is no option not to I am needed. I simply don't know how I am going to manage it though. I've had to get up 4 times for deliveries and it is killing me!!

Probably not the same if your DH had it last weekend, but I've been feeling utterly exhausted, finding it impossible to do a short walk, wanting to sleep all the time, breathless going upstairs and basically just wanting to stay in bed all the time. Last Friday I was diagnosed with anaemia. Sore/ dry eyes can be part of it -- maybe worth bearing in mind?

SistersOfMerci · 16/09/2019 15:33

I was going to say anaemia or vit B12/D deficiency.

CatherineCawood · 16/09/2019 15:42

Can the symptoms of a deficiency come on that quickly?

HelenRose1111 · 16/09/2019 15:44

Get your thyroid and Vit D levels checked, bone aching tiredness and difficulty concentrating are classic Vit D deficiency symptoms.

Allthepinkunicorns · 16/09/2019 15:45

I wouldn't say it's a deficiency if your dh had it before you. It just sounds like a virus. I would go to the doctors though if you still fill like this in a couple of weeks time as it could be anything.

I slept 14 hours. In fairness I've just worked 2 14 hour days and have 3 or 4 more ahead but I can usually manage with little bother. I feel like I can hardly lift myself. Must be a virus.

Thanks all- much better today thankfully so must have been a weird virus
