How long to change antibiotics? Pics.

Started hurting, mildly red last Fri evening. Getting tight and hot. Finally saw a GP Monday morning, started antibiotics Mon noon. Picture 1 taken Mon eve.

It's now Weds eve, and it looks like pic 2. GP said it would take 'at least a day' to see improvement. Should I bear with, or scupper Returning to Uni (DS) day tomorrow by hanging on the phone all day in an attempt to see a GP again?

That looks really painful and a lot worse than on Monday. I'd either get another appointment with your GP or perhaps go to a walk in centre if you've got one near you.

It's a lottery- strike lucky with the GP, action in 2 hours; unlucky, no appointment; or shortest ever approx wait at walk in is 3 hours....!

Well, revoltingly, it's coming to a head! New antibiotics and a cream today.
