constipation in 20 month old

even though my daughter has plenty of fruit in her diet and brown bread she keeps getting constipated,she drinks loads of water and juice also.does anyone know if its ok to give her prune juice.also does anyone know what foods will make her go to toilet

Prune juice fine, also lactulose is OK, speak to GP or health visitor.

Was just talking to a friend who has found an organic prune and grape juice (yes, obviously sold in waitrose) that is working wonders for her 15 month olds bowel habit.
