It was 8 weeks yesterday (Wednesday) of being in the splint. On Tuesday I noticed a red spot on the underneath of the finger by the middle knuckle and the finger was painful to bend at that knuckle.
I took the splint off totally yesterday and the whole finger is more swollen now than it was when I did the injury. It really is tight when I try and bend it at the middle knuckle but that’s to be expected I guess through lack of use.
The sensation in the tip of my finger is very weird too.
Should I be concerned?
