Anybody tried the Alexander Technique for backpain?

I have long term back pain and have been offered a place on an Alexander Technique workshop.

I would love to hear some real life examples of people who have attended such a thing and positive and / or negative outcomes.

Yes, years ago, very helpful. Changed some of my habits and improved my posture.

My cousin was in terrible pain daily until he did Alexander Technique. It changed his life so much he trained as a practitioner himself.

I've been for one session for fun/stress/no specific problems and it's unlike anything else, I felt great afterwards.

Thanks both, I think I might give it a go then! Nothing to loose and a bit of coaching on posture can't be harmful for anyone.

I paid for it privately and found it helpful ... certainly does no harm
