Need to decide if I can be bothered to make a GP appointment or keep waiting and seeing...

I have had a sore throat (right side only)/ear for over 2 weeks now. In fact I really can't decide if it is my throat or my ear! It doesn't hurt all the time but most of the time and is worst in the evening/night/early morning. Is it just me or is this weird? I keep thinking it will turn in to something but nothing's happening, but it's not going away either. I take immune suppressing drugs so if it was an infection I would have thought it would have taken off by now?? Do I need to go to the docs?

I think that if you have any symptoms for a prolonged period and are worried, you should see a gp. That's what they are there for.

Would go to the GP, it will set your mind at rest. After all, it's what we pay our NI for!

It could be the tube that connects the ear and the throat. It's worse at night because of the increase in pressure from lying down.

Make an appointment with your GP, especially as you're on immuno suppresants.
