Bloating, cramps, anxiety, ?OC: hand hold or grip needed!

Looking for some sensible words of wisdom,

I've had sharp pain in my lower right side, very low down, also bloating for just over a week. Saw GP at walk in centre on Sunday, he did a urine test and felt my tummy, listened to bowel sounds with stethoscope. couldn't find anything abnormal so thought possibly ovulation symptoms and told me to take paracetamol for a few days. Also did a pregnancy test on Sun as TTC, was BFN (was only CD14 so wasn't expecting a bfp, its just doctors tend to ask this first!)

Bloating now worse if anything, also have low down period pain-like abdominal cramps. Paracetamol not helping. Period not due for at least another week. Had loose stools yesterday and today but only once per day.

Appetite is normal, peeing totally normally.

I have a GP appointment for Thursday of next week (lucky to get one that soon tbh) Stupidly asked Dr Google in the meantime, now absolutely petrified of ovarian cancer because of the bloating and low down abdo symptoms.

Somebody please talk some sense into me!

Hi OP.
I’m no expert but I would imagine there are other things it could be, perhaps a simple cyst? The importantly thing is that you’re taking action to find out what the matter is, though it’s frustrating that you have to wait so long for an appointment. Does your GP do on the day appointments too? Maybe you could keep calling to try and get one of them.
Hope all is well.

Thanks for replying @TweeBee, I'm actually feeling a fair bit better today, physically and mentally. The bloating has gone down for now. Yes the gp does do on the day appointments, I think I'm too polite for my own good when the receptionists ask if I need an 'emergency' appointment! I certainly will ask for one though if things get worse again before my scheduled appt. The rational part of my brain knows there are many more likely and less serious things I probably have rather than OC.
