Iron Fortified

Does anyone know where I can buy iron fortified baby rice? All the weaning books I've read recommend it, and I'm using all the most common UK best sellers. I've searched all my local supermarkets and health food shops and can't find one.

which weaning books are you reading?
If DD is still bf or having formula she's more than likely getting enough iron anyway.
Besides which, have you tasted baby rice.? Tis vile.

ANyway, most of the baby rice you see in the shelves will be fortified with all manner of things if you read the packets. Which have you tried?

Annabel Karmel, the one everyone reads that I don't think you can mention on mumsnet :-), and also the usual websites - babycentre etc.
Even the doctors at the kiddies hospitals recommend iron fortified cereals as iron deficiency is the most common deficiency in kids in the UK. ... I'm not really concerned as I'm sure she will be fine without it, but it would be nice to find it. I'm just surprised it's not on every supermarket shelf given the 2 best selling weaning books in the UK BOTH recommend iron fortified baby rice. I'm sure I'll find some somewhere. A nursery nurse I know (who is v.pro iron in cereals) said she thinks Sainsbury's stock it, I'll just have to trek down there and try as there is not one near me.
