does this mean its tonsilitis? Or a virus, or other infection.

She is much better in herself, but it was her breath that was so bad i had to have a look.

Do you think she needs antibiotics? Anyone's little ones had this recently?

thanks

LIZS · 31/07/2007 17:35

Sounds like it - pus normally means a bacterial infection

pirategirl · 31/07/2007 17:48

i feel awful, i just didnt look till just now.

She has always had smelly breath when she has a cold/cough so i didnt think too much of it.

thats interesting, if it's a virus, it should only be treated with paracetamol. If it's a bacterial one, then will need anti's.

Guees the gp will know what it is, or do they just treat it for bacterial.
