Pale Stools

My DD (18months) has been having quite pale stools recently. She doesn't have a great appetite but seems quite happy in herself. I'm struggling getting veg in her diet at the moment (although she's OK with fruit) - do you think that has something to do with it?

Should I get her to the docs?

So long as she has no other symptoms (diarrhoea, vomiting, tummy pain, fever), poo colour isn't especially important and isn't a cause for a doc visit,

Pale poo is often high in fat, so often appears if she's had a high proportion of dairy in her diet, or if she's just getting over a tummy bug - fat is hard to digest so if the gut isn't quite back to par it'll often preferentially digest carbs and protein and let the fat pass on through.

Once she's back on the veg I bet it'll be back to normal.
