I have been ill for quite some time and sypmtons are all pointing towards IBS.

I will be seeing GP next week, but i want to know how bad this is? Its already causing me issues as i cannot pick up DS or walk far because of the cramps.

I am taking peppermint capsules, but wondered if there are any other tips?

TIA

Thanks again everyone for the advice - i think stress could be a major player in this!
I have an appointment with the GP on Wednesday so i'll see what they say, i'm just worried that it'll calm down again and i'll sit there feeling like a fraud!

i am currently using aloe vera juice which is ok, but i may need something else. i have heard peppermint is great for ibs.

Have never got Pepermint capsules from H and B - but know that Boots/ local chemist etc sell them - the ones I take are Colpermn (but dont take them straight after food!) hope this helps!
