I'm fed up with being constantly exhausted...its more than just parent exhaustion...I can have a full nights sleep, wake up and within two hours of waking up, I'm desperate to go back to bed again...

I don't think I'm anaemic as eye lids look healthy pink etc....so any ideas? I'm very thirsty in the evening but not going to the toilet any more frequently so it can't be diabetes...

I am on Citalopram 20mg...I take them around 8.30pm each night so that I don't have any 'hangover' effects from them the next day, but apparently, they aren't that type of AD anyway...

It's driving me mad - any help would be appreciated

Get some bloods done. I look okay but am anaemic. Also could be a thyroid problem.

What is your diet like? Do you eat a lot of refined carbohydrates - e.g. bread, pasta, rice, chocolate, sugar (even fruit)? If you do, try cutting down on these, or switching to more complex carbs. Cut down on fruit and increase your uptake of veg/salad.

Also, drink lots of water - this can really help.

I believe exercise can help, but can't recommend here because this is not my forte

I do eat a reasonable amount of pasta and rice....of the refined variety......I just find it sooo much easier to cook pasta etc now that I'm working part time...pathetic excuse I know.....my sugar cravings are through the roof as well...yuk!

I have followed the GI diet before and it did wonders for me but I did find it a challenge in thinking of what to cook but that was pre DS....
