Congenital heart defect

Hi. Ny son was born with a chd, and is awaiting his secong surgery now. Can't find a thread for others with heart children too, is there one? If not, does anyone else's child have a chd?

I think we've 'spoken' before on Heartline. There are some mums on here with children with chd. My dd has ALCAPA. PA stenosis, PV regurg, mitral and tricuspid regurg. She also has a leg length discrepancy and eczema for good measure. Have you tried the Yahoo Group CHD UK? There's quite a lot of us on there - some going through the 'waiting for surgery ' stage they are very supportive (not that the Mumsnetter's aren't) - Personally I spend far too much time here.

Hi, sorry just a quickie at the mo. My dd is now 3. She had surgery when she was 18months to repair her VSD. She is doing really well.
I think there is someone else on mumsnet waiting for surgery...?
