Vasectomy - How do you decide it's the right thing to do

I cannot have any contraception other that the POP or non hormonal coil, cap diaphram but we are pretty sure that we don't want any more children so I have suggested that dh goes for the snip.
Has anyne regretted their dh having a vasectomy?

I think there will always be part of me that does want another baby.
I did have a miscarriage earlier this year but it made me realise that having another baby isn't actually the best thing to happen to our family
