as I have been having chest pains for a while now. It came back normal but I'm still very worried. I keep getting a very uncomfortable dull ache in my chest (where my heart is) - the ache radiates down my arm sometimes. GP thinks it is probably muscular skeletal (I have problems with neck/back). I am being a hypochondriac. I have also had a cholestrol test. Have drunk lots of wine tonight in an effort to dull pain/block out horrible day.

Oh enid, sorry you're having such a bad time. Congratulations on normal ecg. Sorry I can't offer any decent advice.

Have you thought about a chiropractor? I had a bulging disc in my neck and the pain radiated down my arm and occasinally my fingers went numb. It took quite a few visits but did clear up with the adjustments.

I have been to a physio but they won't treat me - I blacked out when they manipulated my neck - so I have to get an MRI scan before I can go on with treatment. I am presuming the two are linked (chest pain/neck pain) but still v worrying.

Sorry enid I read your thread title out of the corner of my eye and I thought it said 'had an EGG today'! I thought to myself, these bored women will make a conversation out of anything!

Hope everything turns out ok and easy to correct. xxx

Good grief, Enid, what a worry for you, I am really sorry to hear about all this. Glad the ECG was normal and roll on a swift MRI scan with a similarly good outcome. Please keep us posted, we don't see enough of you these days.
