Removal of Mirena excess bleedinf

Hi all.
Sorry if not writing in the correct place. I'm new to this
I had my Mirena removed 2 weeks ago now and I have bled every day since.
I visited my doctor ( day 7) who put me on the mini pill yet nothing has changed.
Has anyone had this it's driving me crazy. I just want to know if it's normal and if it will ever stop xxx

I had this. It was the heaviest bleeding I've ever had,but not painful. It's a withdrawal bleed. I can't remember how long it went on for though.

Thanks for replying . My goodness it was so bad yesterday literally soaked through pads and passed huge clots. I am waiting for doctor to call me back as they don't know what to give me as I'm epileptic. But it's 15 days now and no sign of stopping xx

Oh no,that's a long time to bleeding so heavily. As I said I can't remember how long mine went on for but I could barely leave the house the flooding was so bad.

I had this, and posted a long thread on here about it. I ended up being prescribed tranexamic acid to slow the bleeding down.

I would suggest going to your GP.
