I am so unhappy with them and am desperate to get it done! How or why would i qualify to get it done on the NHS? Would the fact that it is holding my career back and causing me back and neck problems at 22 make any difference? Would appreciate any advice!

Hi, i had one done on the NHS, you need a BMi of less than 28 to be conisdered, and it varies from health authority to health authority. One gp wouldn't refer me, but another did. it quite literally changed my life, went from a j cup to a d , so still have big boobs but so much more managable. The health implications shouldn't be underplayed they really affected my posture, and without them i still have back problems.

Your career problem won't have any bearing on it but suffereing back and neck problems may.

Im pleased you are happy with the outcome quadrophenia. Yes i do have a bmi less than 28 and am generally quite fit. I have suffered with bad back since i was about 16 but the last year or so it has been so much worse! I am g cup now and would be so happy if i could be d cup

I would go to your GP and say how much pain and discomfort you are in. I know the scarring can be quite bad but presume you know that.

Yes i have heard that the scaring can be quite bad but i think that is a consequence for having it done. Im just fed up with the sexual remarks at work and out in the pubs and clubs, why would having bigger boobs make me some kind s**g? "They" are holding me back from being more outgoing and confident and i'm fed up with the back, neck and shoulder pain!!
