My son is 23 months old and since the past three weeks he’s had a fever almost every weekend. We’ve taken him to the Gp and hospital using the out of hours 111 service. Last week they gave him antibiotics and I thought this would be the end of his fever and shivering but he’s got the same thing this weekend again. Today the doctor said it’s viral and it will take time
He’s been sleeping a lot, ate and drank very little and he’s really clingy and doesn’t want to do his normal acitvies.
I’m worried as it’s been 3 weeks and it’s been on and off. His hands and feel are really cold but his forehead seems really hot!
