Hi has anyone had key hole surgery for an ankle and can give their experience on recovery?
DH has just been put on the waiting list for a major clean out after bits of fractured bone were found in the joint 5yrs post injury and it sounds like it's a bit of a mess in there with both the bone and soft tissue damage, plus arthritis.
They will have to go in through the back which is not the preferred route.
He thinks he will be up and about including driving within days, I expect he will be in a walking boot or similar for maybe a couple of weeks?
