have found 3 small lumps (a bit sore) in Outer Fanjo Area

gave birth last week, and wondered if they might be as a result of the jabs i had pre-suturing?

well doesn't sound like warts
or boils (yet)

I'd hang on and see how they go - thay may be, as Fran suggests, Miscellaneous Postpartum Lumps.

Tutter · 26/07/2007 16:22

ok

sorry to disappoint, ladies

Warty Fanjo would have atttracted a far higher post to thread ratio methinks

Tutter · 26/07/2007 16:30

elesbells · 26/07/2007 16:33

ouch! you could have an infection there. go show your fanj to the doctor

FrannyandZooey · 26/07/2007 18:28

How's yer flaps, Tutter?

Spink · 26/07/2007 18:49

Yep. Tutter, like you I had all kinds of lumps. Pylons in the bott and unknown things in the flaps. I was too scared to ask anyone about them and happily they went away without any intervention.

iota · 26/07/2007 18:53

could they be varicose veins ( otherwise known as vulval piles)

iota · 26/07/2007 18:57

some info here

Tutter · 26/07/2007 19:37

pmsl at you lot

at misture of and at the thought of having arrus piles and (ahem) vulval piles

OP posts:
Tutter · 26/07/2007 19:37

how are things today tutter?

Tutter · 27/07/2007 14:39

latest on fanjolumps: went to gp this morning (you get quite blase about baring your bits after childbirth don't you?)

nothing to worry about apparently. yup, linked to Pressure and Pushing - and they're blocked glands or somethingorother - should just go on their own

phew

so gerraway with your warty boily accusations you fanjo scaremongerers

OP posts:
ladylush · 27/07/2007 14:42

Glad all's well then

FrannyandZooey · 27/07/2007 17:53

Oooh get you with your fancy Blocked Glands

some of us weren't too above ourselves to have good old-fashioned fanjo spots

lulumama · 27/07/2007 17:56

yay for tutter;s fanjo !

MrsBadger · 27/07/2007 19:28

there there Franny, a blocked sebaceous gland is a spot, just sounds a darn sight more impressive.
If you ever wanted to impress anyone with your fanjo spots, that is...

Tutter · 28/07/2007 15:47

am afraid that mrsbee is right

the doc did indeed say (after grandly calling them blocked glands) "kind of like pimples"

prefer 'blocked glands' to 'fanjo pimples' myself

midwife came today, and she threw 'vulval piles' back into the mix - says v common but not much discussed

i wonder why...
